Imagine there was a field or industry that virtually guaranteed you a promising career after college. Does that even sound feasible? Well, it is. Trust me on this one; there are more and more great computer jobs coming available as we speak. If you have no clue what field to specialize in, but you enjoy computers and want to make a good living, I highly suggest you consider an education in computer software or programming. This is currently where it's at! And it's definitely the direction our world is moving in.
Back in high school, my older brother was a certified computer nerd. I used to actually give him a hard time about this on occasion. While the rest of us were out and about doing routine kid things, he was indoors playing on his computer. It was a never-ending process. Personally, I couldn't figure out what the guy was doing, but he sure was hooked on the PC. Now, you have to keep in mind that this was back in the 1992. It's not like a lot of web surfing was going on. Anyway, while he was finishing up that last year of high school, he started taking computer classes at the local community college. He claimed that he was going to finish his higher education really early. And so he did. He only had about a year and a half to go once high school was complete. He received a two-year degree concerning computers and began working for a small repair company. Within another two years he was scoping out other, more advanced and high paying computer jobs. Before I knew it, he had an awesome career at UNC Chapel hill. Many people would kill to work on this campus, and the benefits are outstanding. It's funny how this all came from a high school love of computers.

The Buddha, the Godhead, resides quite as comfortably in the circuits of a digital computer or the gears of a cycle transmission as he does at the top of a mountain or in the petals of a flower.
